The trail leads from Legnickie Pole through Jawor, Myśliborski Gorge, Proboszczów and Grodziec, to Złotoryja. On the trail you can find, among others : agates, gold, copper and amethysts. Kaczawskie agates resembling "rock flowers" are enclosed in rocks of volcanic origin and are among the most interesting in Europe. They are the mineralogical showpiece of the Kaczawskie Foothills. The total length of the Trail of Extinct Volcanoes is 85 km and its hiking trail is marked as the yellow one.
